United States Navy war veteran.

Billy served in the United States Navy as a Storekeeper Third Class (SK3/E-4) and S-4 Division Leader, including service with Naval Mobile Construction Battalion Seven and aboard the guided-missile cruiser USS Monterey (CG-61).

His service included Operation Desert Shield and Operation Desert Storm in Southwest Asia, as well as humanitarian operations following Hurricane Hugo while serving at Roosevelt Roads Naval Station.

Billy currently serves as Director of Sales & Events at The Dallas Express. His media career has included work with major broadcasting and media organizations including ABC, CBS, Susquehanna, Cumulus Media and iHeartMedia.

His work has centered on revenue strategy, sales-team development, integrated advertising, brand partnerships, events and building audiences into sustainable businesses.

Civic life

Participation over observation.
